Baker McCloud is writing what he hopes will be his best book. A strange, ambitious work that refuses to behave, All Writers Are Liars is part novel, part provocation, and part confession. Inside it live two men: Malcolm, who wants to be better than he is, and Murray Flout, who doesn’t give a shit.

Malcolm is reaching for redemption following a disastrous two year breakdown, while Murray is pushing the boundaries of taste and structure. He questions who has the right to tell certain stories, most dangerously through a confronting tale of survival that may not be his to tell.

And then there’s McCloud, whose own life intrudes onto the page. He wants success, recognition, and the approval of the person who knows him best – and is increasingly troubled by the suspicion that the truths he’s uncovering in his work might expose more about him than he’s ready to face.

Sharp, darkly funny and uncomfortably honest, All Writers Are Liars explores the messy space between fiction and reality – and asks whether storytelling is an act of deception, or the only way we ever find the truth.

A terrifying glimpse into a far distant future, where the Sharps rule the Gobblers, and Fear, Fame and Freedom are the new gods. A dystopia you'll find disturbingly familiar and far too probable.

How the hell did this innocent group of principled stoners turn into mass murderers? Is action so addictive? Is violence really so seductive? What starts with an ideal ends in tears.

The Cat Man is like a cat: one minute it's warm and loving, the next it's shredding your flesh. Be amused, brutalised and uplifted by this moggy of a book about love, gullibility and betrayal.

Short stories that veer from the strange to the silly and back to the serious without blinking. Dive in for adventure, satire, a dash of sci-fi and a generous helping of the absurd.

New Elysium is a seemingly idyllic post-apocalyptic city. A place where a weed addicted, lovelorn cameraman, a bizarre justice system and a dark energy secret all collide.

"This fiery critique of American foreign policy is a page-turner that is bound to shock, fascinate, and challenge its readers."
Booklife Review of The World Without Mirrors

"The Cat Man was an enthralling, frightening, and satirical study of cult leadership, dynamics, and behaviour, with great character development."
Online Book Club Review

"This dystopian exploration of compliance and betrayal will appeal to readers fascinated by how far humanity can sink."
Booklife Review of The Psyman

"I think if Sartre's The Childhood of a Leader and Crossan's Breathe had a literary baby, it would resemble Bruechle's The Psyman. This is easily in the top
three novels I have read this year.”
